HOUSE on HENRY ROAD
When Dad was ready to retire he purchased a 1.5 acre lot from Robert Landers on December 28, 1970 for $450 plus tax, Lawyer, and deed transfer of $23.35. The Meadville Tribune on Thursday December 31, 1970 reported the land transfer from Robert and Junita Landers to George and Mildred Enlow. He and Mom started to build their retirement home. I believe later on Dad purchased more land to add to the original 1.5 acres. They moved into this house Sept 9, 1975.
These two houses are in Cochranton, Pennsylvania beside French Creek

This is the Vincent Farm on Vincent Road, Wayne Township, Cochranton, Pennsylvania
I spent many summers working on this farm. This farm was in the Vincent family from July 10, 1855 until Julian and Marie Vincent sold it to the Miller family in 1975.
Julian bought the farm Jan 25, 1923 (for $2,500) and sold it to Ervin and Martha Miller Feb 27, 1975 (for $40,000). They also sold the livestock and machinery for $10,000.
As near as can be figured the farm was originally owned by Mr & Mrs Gottlieb Lang, this was shown on a 1876 map of Wayne Township.
This map was in Vol II, No. 4, December 1989 issue of Heritage Times.

Here is the 1927 Federal Farm Census showing J.A.Vincent's farm. It lists all the trees and livestock on the farm.
One of the beams in the barn had the initials of all the kids. You can see mine to the left of Winnie Vincent's.
The is Marie and Julian Vincent's town house (147 Adams Street, Cochranton, Pennsylvania).

You can see Mom (Mildred Enlow) and Aunt Winnie Smith going in the front door. After Jule and Marie sold the farm they moved into this house. After they passed away it was sold to the church next door who tore it down, in 2008, to extend their parking lot. There was a barn behind it Across the street was the Cochranton Fire Department.
